The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) invites applications for
postdoctoral fellows or research associates in their thematic research
area of Climate Change and Sustainable Development.

AIT is in the process of consolidating, strengthening and expanding
research in response to climate change in the areas of technology,
policy and planning, managerial and institutional arrangements. This
opportunity will be in climate change science, mitigation of green
house emissions, vulnerability aspects, adaptation measures to climate
change, and more. In this effort, AIT plans to continue its work in an
interdisciplinary manner, cutting across research that explores:

Beasiswa Pemerintah Jepang (MONBUKAGAKUSHO)
Program Research Student 2009

1. Kedutaan Besar Jepang membuka penawaran beasiswa kepada mahasiswa/mahasiswi
Indonesia untuk melanjutkan pendidikan di universitas di Jepang sebagai research
student pada tahun 2009 dalam Program Beasiswa Pemerintah Jepang
(Monbukagakusho) .

2. Peminat pada waktu menjalani research student diperbolehkan melamar ke
program degree (master/doctor/ professional graduate course) atau meneruskan
program doctor degree setelah menyelesaikan program master degree atau
professional graduate course, apabila lulus seleksi tes ujian yang diberikan
oleh universitas yang bersangkutan

3. Persyaratan untuk melamar, sbb

(1) Pelamar lahir pada dan setelah tanggal 2 April 1974
(2) IPK minimum 3,0 atau nilai EJU (Examination for Japanese University
Admission for International Students) minimum 260 dalam jumlah 2 mata ujian
tidak termasuk Bahasa Jepang
(3) Nilai TOEFL minimum 550 atau ekuivalen atau lulus Tes Kemampuan Bahasa
Jepang Tingkat 2

4. Formulir pendaftaran dapat diambil secara gratis di Kedutaan Besar Jepang
(Bagian Pendidikan, pukul 08:30-12:00, 14:00-15:30) , Konsulat Jenderal Jepang
di Surabaya, Medan, dan Makassar. Formulir pendaftaran juga dapat diperoleh pada
website Kedutaan Besar Jepang (http://www.id. emb-japan. go.jp). Dokumen lamaran
harus dikembalikan kepada Kedutaan Besar Jepang sebelum tanggal 23 Mei 2008,
dapat diserahkan secara langsung atau dikirim melalui pos.

5. Keterangan lebih lanjut mengenai program beasiswa ini dapat diperoleh di

FULBRIGHT – TELKOM master’s degree Maret 20, 2008

FULBRIGHT – TELKOM master’s degree program at Fulbright Presidential Scholarship Program. Preference will be given to applicants who will serve as faculty members of the state and private institutions of higher learning in Indonesia.

Candidates who possess:

A Sarjana (S1) degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (4.00 scale) that leadership qualities
A good understanding of Indonesian and international cultures with a demonstrated commitment to the chosen field of study
A willingness to return to Indonesia at the completion of the Fulbright program
A minimum TOEFL score of 550.
How to Apply
Applicants must complete the appropriate application form. Forms are available by mail or in person at the Office AMINEF, Gedung Balai Pustaka, 6th Floor, Jl. Sahara Gunung Raya 4, Jakarta 10720. AMINEF Please go back to your complete application by the deadline which includes:

Completed application form. This includes well-written and concise objective study
A copy of your most recent, less than two years, TOEFL score report
A letter of reference, either from your current employer or former lecturer
A copy of transcript of records (English translation)
A copy of the identity document (passport or KTP)
